How It Works?

To get a Nevada Driving Permit, students 15 1/2 and older are required to complete a state approved drivers ed course.

Follow these 4 EASY steps on Drivers Ed Hub.

Step 1

Once you’re 15 1/2 or older, it’s time to purchase your Nevada drivers education course. Our course is fully licensed by the Nevada DMV and full of engaging content. It’s way more fun than taking a course in a classroom.

l

Step 2

Head to the DMV and take the 50 question multiple-choice knowledge exam. All of these questions are based on the Nevada DMV handbook, so make sure you study handbook or use our app to practice. Once you pass the exam and fill out some forms with your parents, you’ll be granted your instruction permit. Sweet!

Step 3

The state of Nevada requires you to hold your instruction permit for at least 6 months and have 50 hours of behind-the-wheel practice (10 of those hours need to be at night). You can practice with any licensed driver 21 years or older, who has held a license for at least a year. Let’s start driving!

Step 4

Bring the certificate of completion we send you upon course completion, your driving record and your instruction permit to the DMV at the time of your test. Once you ace your test, you’re now a licensed Nevada driver!
